Daphne has experience in a range of business and commercial litigation, including contract, product liability, and labor and employment matters. In addition, Daphne has extensive experience in handling all facets of insurance cases, including coverage determinations and ensuing litigation.
Representative Experience:
- Defended a national manufacturer of luxury yachts and its related entities against tort and contract claims asserted by a business customer. Daphne drafted a motion to dismiss that resulted in the plaintiff dismissing one of our clients from the case.
- Represented a national insurance carrier in a suit to recover duty to defend costs against another national insurance carrier. Daphne authored the demand letter that resulted in an immediate favorable settlement for our client.
- Lead associate in defense of suit brought by insured against our client, a national insurance carrier, which resulted in a favorable settlement.
