Tracy is a civil trial lawyer with 13 years of experience concentrating in insurance coverage and complex business litigation.
Tracy's experience has included both trials and appeals in a broad range of business, personal and insurance related disputes with exceptional results. On this extensive base of experience, she has focused her practice in the area of insurance coverage, including property, casualty, business interruption, fidelity, professional liability, worker's compensation and health insurance. In addition to her litigation experience, Tracy has authored numerous papers and lectured on various insurance coverage issues.
Tracy began her law career as an associate with the law firm of Taylor & Eggleston working for partners, Bill Eggleston and Monty Briscoe. In 2000, she became a partner in the successor firm of Eggleston & Briscoe. She recently became Of Counsel to the firm.
Tracy graduated from Texas A&M University at College Station with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History. She received her Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from South Texas College of Law in 1993.
As a law student, Tracy was a member of the South Texas College of Law Varsity Moot Court Team, an active member of the Board of Advocates, and a member of the Academic Honor Society, Order of the Lytae. As a varsity moot court team member, she earned the award for Best Brief in the Jessup Regional Moot Court Competition. Tracy has also been recognized with numerous speaking and writing awards including Best Speaker in the Abraham, Watkins, Nichols, Ballard & Friend Mock Trial Competition, Finalist in the W.J. Williamson Legal Writing Competition and Finalist in the South Texas College of Law Negotiation and Settlement Competition.
