Ray Gregory maintains a trial and office practice, which is focused on civil business disputes, employment law, and the protection of confidential and proprietary information.
Ray represents individual and corporate clients in litigation involving general business disputes, breach of contract claims, employment issues, confidential and proprietary information, copyrights and trademarks, leases, environmental issues, and creditor’s bankruptcy rights. In addition, he advises business clients in a wide variety of areas designed to prevent litigation and protect a client’s proprietary information. These preventive measures include working with clients to draft and implement employee handbooks, non-solicitation agreements, confidentiality agreements, covenants-not-to-compete, and other similar agreements. In addition to his main focus areas, Ray also represents clients in the following areas: insurance coverage and defense, school and public law, construction litigation, and probate law.
Ray was born in Galveston, Texas and raised in Houston. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from The University of Texas at Austin in 1986, and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from The University of Houston in 1990.
