    Bill Eggleston has over 35 years of courtroom experience and today emphasizes civil business and insurance litigation.  He has successfully represented numerous businesses and individuals in high profile, significant cases.  Recently, Bill secured a take nothing defense verdict for a property insurer sued for over $22 million and successfully defended before the Texas Supreme Court a jury verdict he won on behalf of a county judge and commissioners sued for alleged election violations.  Bill has also obtained equally significant verdicts or settlements on behalf of insurance companies, royalty owners, fellow attorneys and the State of Texas.  Most recently, he helped gain acquittal of a local doctor charged with murder.  Bill is a Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation, "AV" Preeminent rated by Martindale-Hubbell (2012-2017), named one of Houston's Top Lawyers by H Magazine (2013-2016) and one of the state's SuperLawyers by Texas Monthly (2014-2016).

    Monty Briscoe is a 30-year trial lawyer with vast and successful first chair jury trial experience in a variety of lawsuits throughout Texas that include insurance coverage, construction defect, premises liability, product liability, contract disputes, DTPA, and major injury. Monty is considered a go-to lawyer among property and casualty insurance professionals. Monty’s recent trial accomplishments include the successful defense of a Houston area homebuilder, the overturning of a multi-million dollar rogue insurance appraisal award, and the defense of a major fire loss insurance claim which resulted successfully with a finding of arson. Monty is both 'AV' Preeminent rated (2012-2013) and designated a Texas Top Rated Lawyer (2013) by Martindale-Hubbell.

Most recently, John Michael helped secure a take nothing judgment for a property insurer sued for $22 million. As a law student, John Michael represented juveniles in court as a participant in the Juvenile Justice Clinic.

    Erin has been recognized as a Texas Rising Star from 2008 to 2013 by Thompson-Reuters. In nine years practicing law, Erin has already appeared before the U.S. Supreme Court, where she assisted with the briefing and preparation of oral arguments in Kennedy v. Plan Administration for DuPont Savings Investment Plan, et al. She is a civil and probate litigation attorney with experience in insurance coverage, guardianship disputes, will contests and fiduciary litigation.
  • David K. LovelessDavid K. Loveless, Associate

    David is a trial attorney concentrating in civil business litigation, insurance defense litigation and regulatory compliance. An honors graduate of the Naval Justice School, David served in a variety of assignments in the U.S. Navy, including Command Judge Advocate assigned to the USS Enterprise (CVN 65) with a deployment to Iraq and Afghanistan. He is licensed to practice law in all United States military courts, including the United States Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces.

    Ronald is a trial attorney concentrating in first and third party insurance litigation and subrogation. Prior to practicing law, he served in the U.S. Army as a medical evacuation pilot, flew hundreds of life-saving missions and was a company commander. Since 2008, he has three successful jury trials, two successful arbitrations, as well as numerous settlements and summary judgments to his credit.

    Will is a trial attorney concentrating in insurance defense and civil business litigation. Prior to joining Eggleston and Briscoe, Will worked as an Assistant District Attorney in Brazoria County, Texas.  As a prosecutor, Will gained extensive experience preparing and trying cases to jury verdict.

    Sean is a trial attorney with a diverse background in small business, IT, and politics. He is a graduate of Texas A&M University and South Texas College of Law. During law school, Sean was a varsity member of STCL’s nationally-recognized advocacy program, where he competed in multiple mock-trial and moot court tournaments and was recognized for his talent in both written and oral advocacy.

    In her legal career of over 19 years, Tracy has represented clients in a broad range of business, personal and insurance disputes with exceptional results. By understanding her clients’ key objectives, she has accomplished those objectives through favorable settlements, trial verdicts or appeals. Tracy has represented the insurance industry from small specialty carriers to Lloyds syndicates to the world’s largest insurance conglomerates. Her advocacy skills were demonstrated while a student at South Texas College of Law, where she received numerous speaking and writing awards.

    Max has practiced law in Houston since 1973, including 19 years at Bracewell & Patterson (now called Bracewell & Giuliani) and five years as general counsel, vice president, and corporate secretary of Sterling Chemicals. His areas of experience include real estate, banking, corporate transactional work, environmental matters, employment matters, mergers and acquisitions, and litigation management. Martindale-Hubbell has designated Max a Texas Top-Rated Lawyer in 2012 and has rated him as ‘AV’ Preeminent in 2012-2017.

He has also successfully served as an expert witness in complex litigation involving oil and gas, banking, and fiduciary issues.
