John Michael Raborn is a civil litigation attorney with jury trial experience representing companies and individuals on both sides of the docket in a range of business and commercial matters, including insurance coverage and litigation, employment, product liability, and environmental matters.
John Michael received his B.S.B.A. in Economics from the University of Richmond in 2004 and his J.D. from the University of Texas in 2007. Prior to joining Eggleston & Briscoe, John Michael worked with a firm in Dallas, Texas where his practice focused primarily on employment and workers' compensation nonsubscriber matters. While in Dallas, John Michael also authored an article on e-discovery: Coping with E-Discovery Under the New Rules.
John Michael is a native Houstonian. Prior to receiving his law degree, John Michael participated in the Juvenile Justice Clinic at the University of Texas School Law where he represented juveniles in court. John Michael also clerked for the U.S. Attorney's Office - Eastern District of Texas in Tyler and the First Court of Appeals of Texas under Judge Higley. During law school he also served as Managing Editor of the Texas Review of Entertainment and Sports Law.
