Erin Eggleston Salisbury is a 6th year trial lawyer who has been recognized by her peers as a Texas Rising Star in 2008, 2009 and 2010.
An accomplished trial lawyer, she has already appeared before the U.S. Supreme Court where she assisted with the briefing and preparation of oral arguments in the U.S. Supreme Court case Kennedy v. Plan Administration for DuPont Savings Investment Plan, etc. Currently, Erin's practice focuses on insurance, probate and general civil litigation. She has served as a court appointed dependent administrator of estates and court appointed guardian of the person and estate. Prior to receiving her law degree, Erin participated in the Juvenile Justice Clinic and the Travis County Assistant District Attorney programs at the University of Texas. Erin was also a member of the Criminal Law Journal at the University of Texas. She has served as a member of the Board for Attorneys in Tax and Probate for the past three years and is currently serving as the Vice-President.
Erin is a native Houstonian. She graduated from St. Agnes Academy in Houston, Texas in 1998. She earned her B.A. in History from the University of the South (Sewanee) in 2002 and her J.D. from the University of Texas, School of Law in December 2004. Prior to joining Eggleston & Briscoe, Erin worked with MacIntyre & McCulloch, LLP where her practice focused primarily on probate litigation. She and her husband Collin have one daughter, Allison Anne Salisbury.
