Bruce Wallace has worked as a banker and lawyer for the last 30 years, managing litigation and complex transactions for large institutions and high net worth individuals
Bruce began his career with Texas Commerce Bank where he managed fiduciary relationships for high net worth individuals and held line responsibility for the Real Estate and Oil and Gas Group. In 1988, he assumed the role of Chief Administrative Officer for the Trust Department where he was responsible for overseeing the acquisition and integration of multiple bank and trust company mergers into Texas Commerce and Chase Bank. He also managed the client and corporate fiduciary litigation docket for these institutions. In 1993, Bruce helped create the Private Bank for Chase in Texas. Following the Chase merger with JPMorgan, Bruce served as the Private Bank's Chief Operating Officer for the central and southeastern United States. In addition to these roles, Bruce served as President of Matagorda Oil Company, a closely held corporation, and Trinity Petroleum, a publicly traded energy company.
Bruce is a native Houstonian with deep roots in the Houston community. He has been married to his wife Pat for the past 34 years and is the proud father of 4 boys. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from The University of Texas at Austin in 1976, and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from South Texas College of Law in 1980.
